- Goethe Institut
As the globally active cultural institution of the Federal Republic of Germany, Goethe Institut advocate for understanding between Germany, Europe and the world. The framework agreement with the German Federal Foreign Office is the foundation for this work. Worldwide, Goethe Institut provide information about the cultural and societal diversity of Germany and Europe. 158 Goethe-Instituts in 98 countries together with numerous partner institutions form the basis of global network.
- Stuttgart Media University
Hochschule der Medien is a public university (funded by the state of Baden-Württemberg) which teaches media specialists. Since September 1st, 2001, Hochschule der Medien has brought together the combined know-how of the former Fachhochschule für Druck und Medien (HDM) – a traditional educational institution for printing- and media-technologies – and Hochschule für Bibliotheks- und Informationswesen (HBI).
- German Photobook Prize
Founded in 1975, the German Photobook Prize is a competition in which the jury awards the best photobooks in German-speaking countries. The award honours special achievement by authors, photographers and publishers in the photobook sector.
- Fotobookfestival Kassel
The Fotobookfestival Kassel is a charitable foundation that has been engaged with the artistic medium of the photobook and has presented it in all its facets since 2008. It was the first festival of its kind dedicated to the photographic book and has founded two novel book awards: The KASSEL DUMMY AWARD for the best photobook mock-up of the year has awarded emerging talents a complete photobook-production since 2010.
- Photobook Week Aarhus
Galleri Image and Aarhus School of Architecture have held photography book activities every year since 2014 to promote and study photography books, trying to discuss photography books from artistic, communication and academic perspectives.
- Charta Photo-book festival
Established by Yogurt Magazine, the Biennale focuses on photo books and independent publishing, with annual events and Charta Photobook Award; Winners will have the opportunity to receive funding to publish their photography books.
- Asia One Product & Publishing Limited
Established in 2007, Asia One’s book imprint is one of the most prolific publishers on art and culture topics in Hong Kong. AOPP strives to create and offer works that represent Hong Kong’s creative scene as it develops, documenting its stories while showcasing its talented artists, photographers and designers. The Asia One publishing arm’s services and capabilities include editorial, design, colour management, ISBN applications, distribution and marketing.
