Goethe Institut

As the globally active cultural institution of the Federal Republic of Germany, Goethe Institut advocate for understanding between Germany, Europe and the world. The framework agreement with the German Federal Foreign Office is the foundation for this work. Worldwide, Goethe Institut provide information about the cultural and societal diversity of Germany and Europe. 158 Goethe-Instituts in 98 countries together with numerous partner institutions form the basis of global network.

Hochschule der Medie

Hochschule der Medien is a public university (funded by the state of Baden-Württemberg) which teaches media specialists. Since September 1st, 2001, Hochschule der Medien has brought together the combined know-how of the former Fachhochschule für Druck und Medien (HDM) – a traditional educational institution for printing- and media-technologies – and Hochschule für Bibliotheks- und Informationswesen (HBI).

German Photobook Prize / Deutscher Fotobuchpreis 

The German Photobook Prize honors the best photobooks in the German-speaking world. Founded over 25 years ago, it was organized by the German Publishers and Booksellers Association until 2016 and by Stuttgart Media University from 2017 to 2022. In October 2022, the organization has been passed to the initiators of the INTERNATIONAL FESTIVALS OF PHOTOGRAPHIC PICTURES. From 2023, the prize will be awarded annually in Regensburg, with a touring exhibition across Europe and Asia. 

Dummy Award 

The Dummy Award, formerly known as the Kassel Dummy Award, is an international competition that celebrates the best unpublished photobook dummies each year. Starting in 2023, The PhotoBookMuseum in Cologne, alongside its sponsor and partner MAS Matbaa in Istanbul, has taken over the award and guide it into a successful future.
